AlpBAR-D AUTOMATIC BAR COUNTING AND SEPARATING SYSTEM
AlpBar Divider is a system designed for rolling mills which provides automatic bar counting and separation functionalities, so that bundles with an arbitrary number of steel bars can be produced regardless the size of product.
Since the system has a modular design, multiple counting/separating units can be installed in the storage area as needed and in accordance with the plant layout.
A laser profiler (patented technology) counts the bars transiting along the cooling bed and in approaching the desired amount LED lights will turn on while the relevant data is automatically transferred from the counting device to the tracking camera as the target bar is identified. A tracking algorithm then follows the target bar until it has come to a complete stop and the mechanical separation sequence begins.
